For schools

School consultancy & teacher training

I help international and private schools build EAL programmes that work — from programme audits and WIDA or MAP assessment rollouts to hands-on training that equips subject teachers to support multilingual learners in every classroom.

Schools rarely lack goodwill towards their multilingual learners; they lack structure. I audit how your EAL provision actually works — placement, assessment, service delivery, co-teaching, accommodations — and leave you with a plan your staff can run without me.

I led a school-wide move to WIDA online assessment and have trained more than fifty teachers in EAL strategies and cultural responsiveness, so recommendations come from classroom practice, not slides.

Who it's for

  • International and private schools building or reviewing an EAL programme
  • School leaders planning a WIDA, MAP or STAR assessment rollout
  • Subject teachers who need practical strategies for multilingual classrooms

What you get

  • A clear picture of how your EAL provision performs today, and where it leaks
  • An assessment setup — WIDA, MAP, STAR — your staff can administer and interpret
  • Teachers with scaffolding and differentiation strategies they can use the next day
  • Placement and monitoring routines that stand up to accreditation reviews

How it runs

  1. Audit

On-site or remote review of placement, assessment data, lessons and provision.

  2. Report

A plain-language written report with prioritised recommendations.

  3. Training

Half-day and full-day workshops that give teachers next-day strategies.

  4. Ongoing advisory

Term-long support alongside your EAL lead while the plan beds in.

Questions, answered

What does an EAL programme audit involve?

I review placement and assessment data, observe lessons, and talk with teachers and leadership, then map your current provision against WIDA standards and good practice. You receive a plain-language report with prioritised recommendations.

Do you run one-off workshops or longer training?

Both. A single workshop works well for awareness and quick strategies; deeper change usually takes a short series with classroom practice between sessions. We choose based on your goals and calendar.

Can you help us roll out WIDA?

Yes. I led my school's move to WIDA online assessment end to end — logistics, scheduling, technical setup and staff preparation — and can guide your school through the same process.

Do you work with schools outside Lithuania?

Yes. Audits and training run well remotely, and on-site visits can be arranged across Europe.
